In the 2070s severe weather has become commonplace. Middle and lower class families are bearing the brunt of the Climate Crisis. Atop of a venerable skyscraper, the CEOs of a multinational cartel meet to decide the world’s economic fate. Their summit isn’t like the buy-sell cons addressed by popular media. Here you’ll witness the true aims of the rich and influential.
As a counterpoint, Jen Marov climbs the tower undetected and disrupts the meeting. She exits in a paraglider and flies to a rendezvous with JoAnna who waits beside a souped-up Humvee. Together they speed through to streets of Kuala Lumpur while being chased by dozens of SUVs and scores of security dudes.
Meanwhile in orbit, teenage Raven has her foot regrown in microgravity, whereas her adolescent partner undergoes training in the crèches.
Will earth and democracy survive the greed-induced threats to the environment and the cooperative masses?
